The goal of our church is to have programs that is not geared to meet the need of our congregation only , therefore we set up programs that naturally would meet the need of people both of the congregation and the community.
We seek to follow our Lord mandate of Acts 1:8 " But you will receive power when the Holy spirit comes on you: and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem , and in all Judea and Samaria , and to the end of the Earth".
All of our outreach programs are geared to serve the needs of our community. Our programs include:
- Youth basketball on Fridays at Ruth Thompson Public School
- Childrens' club on Wednesdays with Bible instructions, Art and Music at the Churchill Meadows Public School
- Seniors social get together monthly
- Senior's care weekly in the local nursing homes (Erin Meadows, Sunrise Seniors Living)
- Monthly Book Club
- Mens and Ladies Fellowship monthly
Our objective both in our fellowship and our social outings, is to reach people outside of our congregation, meeting their social , emotional , physical and spiritual need.
The goal of the program is to promote on- going development of basketball skills, encourage sportsmanship, uphold biblical values and character development
